July 18, 2026 – Next step to the top

For Willy, the objective was clear: win convincingly and prove that he is ready for the next step

towards the global elite. A victory over an opponent of the calibre of Tomas Šálek, the multiple

Czech heavyweight champion, once again makes a powerful statement in this regard.

And that is exactly what happened.

Whereas emotions got the better of him last time, things were handled professionally this time.

With discipline, patience, and a flawlessly executed battle plan, he secured a convincing victory

via knockout in the third round.

From the first bell, Willy took the initiative. He remained calm under pressure, dictated the pace

of the match, and worked disciplined toward his moment. That moment came at the end of the

second round, when his opponent went to the canvas for the first time. In the third round, Willy

increased the pressure further. After Salek went down again, the referee intervened and ended

the fight.

Another knockout victory, the result of excellent tactical discipline. This victory feels like more

than just a sporting success; it was confirmation that Willy is ready for a new chapter in his

career.

Willy now stands at an unbeaten record of 14 – 0 games, 13 of which were by (T)KO.

New ranking on Boxrec, position 41. Moved up to 51st on the IBO rankings and to 10th on the

WBC bridge rankings.

March 7, 2026 - What a fight.

This match was against Semir Dautovic, a German boxer of Bosnian descent. A tough and

resilient boxer with experience in international boxing matches, both as a cruiser and a

heavyweight. Which was evident from the course of the fight.

As usual, Willy remained true to his style, and after the first two rounds, it seemed a matter

of time before Willy would decide the match. The third round, however, showed just how

dangerous and unpredictable the heavyweight division can sometimes be.

One moment of inattention and the momentum of the match seemed to shift.

In a true rain of punches, both boxers gave everything to force a decision. Ultimately, Willy

proved to be the better, stronger man. Another knockout victory, hard-fought, but with a fighter's heart. Another lesson learned, against a boxer with high-level experience.

Compliments to his opponent, Semir Dautovic, who made it quite difficult for Willy.

He also now has an undefeated record of 13-0 fights, 12 of which by knockout. New ranking

on Boxrec, position 39. Moved up in the IBO rankings to 56 and in the WBC bridger ranking

to 14.
